2022 IPSHA Biennial National Conference

The IPSHA Biennial National Conference is taking place in Adelaide, South Australia from Thursday 26 May to Saturday 28 May 2022. The organising committee and SA Branch members look forward to welcoming colleagues from around the country to Adelaide for our much anticipated Conference.

IPSHA COVID-19 Statement

We understand that circumstances may change due to the ongoing pandemic.

As your health and safety remains our first priority, we would like to reassure you that IPSHA will remain flexible with registrations, allowing you to receive a full refund up to 14 days before the start of the Conference, should your attendance not be possible due to COVID restrictions.

New Heads Seminar - Thursday 26 May (10am-11:30am)

The New Heads Seminar will be facilitated by Carl Salt, Head of Junior School at Pembroke School, and all members who have joined IPSHA since 2019 and are new to the Headship role are invited to attend.

If you would like to attend the New Heads Seminar but have not yet registered your interest, please email the national office at admin@ipsha.org.au.

Conference Venue and Conference Dinner Venue

Prince Alfred College will host the Official Conference Opening on the Thursday evening, and Day 1 (Friday) and Day 2 (Saturday) of the Conference

The National Wine Centre will play host to our Conference Dinner on the Saturday evening

The National Wine Centre is a truly special place. Its unique surroundings, nestled in the heart of the city’s Botanic Gardens, make it the perfect location for our Conference Dinner.

National Wine Centre COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

Please note that the National Wine Centre Board and Management has advised that a vaccine mandate is being adopted from 20 December 2021. The National Wine Centre will be open for fully vaccinated patrons (or those with a valid medical exemption or under the age of 16) only.

School Tours Program (Optional)

School tours will take place on Thursday afternoon from 12pm to 4pm. Three tours will run concurrently and delegates can select from one of the three paired options below:

  • Pulteney Grammar School and Annesley Junior School
  • St John’s Grammar, Junior School and Scotch College Junior School
  • St Peter’s College, Junior School and St Peter’s Girls’ School

A light lunch will be provided at the first school visited.
